The things worth knowing before you build something real.

Do I need to be technical to use this?

No. Describe what you want in plain English and we build it, then give you a private link to click around and try before anything goes live.

What we won’t do is leave you stranded later. Everything we build is written down in a readable form, so the day you hire a developer or bring on a technical cofounder, they can pick it up and keep going rather than starting over.

Do I own what gets built?

Yes. If you cancel, you walk away with a working app and everything needed to keep running it, not a read-only copy or an export you can’t do anything with.

Nothing about your app is locked in a format only we can open. It’s all ordinary files you can hand to any developer.

Specifically: your schema, security policies and functions are plain YAML and JavaScript you can commit to your own repository, and the runtime they execute on is open source.

What happens if I run out of tokens?

Your deployed app keeps running. Tokens are only spent when the AI is building or changing something. Running out pauses further AI edits until the next cycle, it never takes your application offline and never affects your users.

You can keep editing your config by hand at any point, with or without tokens remaining.

Can I see changes before my customers do?

Always. Every change goes to a private version first, a real, working copy of your app that only you can reach. You click around, check it behaves, and publish when you’re happy. Nothing goes live because the AI decided it was finished.

And because the whole configuration is a file under version control, the previous working state is always something you can read, diff and re-apply.

What if I hire a developer later?

They’ll be able to pick it straight up. Everything the AI built is written down in the standard, readable form engineers already expect, so your first hire spends their time improving the product instead of rebuilding it from scratch to understand it.

What happens if you raise your prices?

You can leave and take it with you. The software that runs your app is open source under Apache-2.0, with nothing held back for paying customers, so if our pricing ever stops making sense, running it yourself is a real option rather than a threat you can’t carry out. What you pay us for is not having to.

What happens to my app if instancez goes away?

It keeps running. Everything your app needs to work is open source and yours, so the worst case is that you or a developer you hire runs it on your own server instead of ours.

We’d rather answer that honestly now than have you find out the hard way. It’s also why we made leaving cheap on purpose, an insurance policy you can inspect before you trust us with anything.

Where does my data live, and do you train on it?

We never train on your data or your prompts. Hosted projects run on dedicated Postgres instances with encryption in transit and at rest. On Enterprise you can deploy into your own cloud account and bring your own LLM provider, so nothing leaves your perimeter.
